Meet Doctor Vu
Henry T. Vu is an acupuncturist practicing TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). He attended TCM University for Healing Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine in Vietnam and graduated in 1998. After graduating from college, he opened and operated a clinic (practicing various modalities within TCM) and herbal apothecary where he prescribed and dispensed Oriental Medicine. He also attended South Baylo University in Anaheim, California and earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He went further and achieved Doctorate degree for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). Along the way, he earned his Master of Science and Oriental Medicine degree (MSAOM) and was awarded for Excellence in Clinical Internship. He earned his certification and completed Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture program for Various Pain, Neurological Disorders, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries, Emergency, Internal, Psychiatric Disorder and Special Senses. He has the Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Louisiana, California, and was nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Henry has long, deep passion for TCM-holistic health and Oriental Medicine. He has treated thousands of people with pain, acute and chronic illness, and host of other ailments and dis-eases. With his love for TCM, healing, and his heart is in the “right place”; it is profoundly rewarding for him to be able to restore health and balance, and help people have better quality of life. As a patient of Dr. Vu, you’ll notice his expertise, warm, caring, genuine, and gentle nature which will put you at ease. Be assured that you are in good hands as restoring your health and well-being is his main goal.
Dr. Vu is currently practicing at his private practice on the Westbank of New Orleans. He serves the community as a volunteer mentor, NADA member, and donates his services and money to several local organizations. He specializes in Auricular Acupuncture, Scalp Acupuncture – Herbology, Meridian Acupressure and Tui Na massage, Cupping, Five Element Acupuncture, Balance Method Acupuncture, Four needle technique and Tai Chi. The use of each of these skills support weight loss, smoking cessation, facial rejuvenation and so much more.
